It was Eleanor Roosevelt who said “You must do the things you think you cannot do” a quote which I have found both inspiring and incredibly pertinent with regards to the Endeavour this blog is dedicated to documenting.
My name is John, myself and two friends have decided to embark upon an expedition that will take us around the world to some of the places that we’ve always wanted to see. I hope to use this site to write down and share my thoughts and experiences and perhaps one or two photos that I’ve taken along the way.
The trip has expanded since it’s inception in mid September of 2008. We decided to take on the not unambitious task of cycling across New Zealand. However, after very little convincing we decided to expand the trip to include Australia, Vietnam and Hong Kong. It proves to be the trip of a lifetime.
My hope is that this trip will spur me on to continue travelling and experience a world that has been shrink wrapped by airlines. Whether this hope is realized or not I am still uncertain of. However, one thing I am sure about, this trip will be life changing and I am determined to fling myself whole heartedly into the spirit of it.
